GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

You must do the required reading for each numbered reading when there is one indicated. Otherwise you may choose from the list.

Extra Credit readings: Three extra credit readings may be turned in for 5 points each. These must be turned in on the specified due dates. For example, suppose you want to do an extra credit reading from the group for Reading #2. Both the required reading and the extra credit must be handed in on the due date . No late Extra Credit readings will be accepted and no extra credit reading will be accepted if the required reading is not turned in on time. Only one extra credit reading will be accepted from each section.

GUIDE TO GRADING OF READINGS:

A (18-20 points) Good answers to the questions, considered thoroughly and in full sentences. Answers are written in the students own words showing an understanding of the material read or seen.

B (16-17 points) Good answers to the questions, most of which are put into the student's own words. There may be a few misunderstandings, but all the questions have been answered.

C (14-15 points) Answers are adequate for the most part and are written in full sentences. There may be some misunderstandings or omissions.

D (12-13) There is not an adequate attempt made to complete the assignment. Too many answers are missing, incomplete, incorrect and/or not in full sentences. Video questions are not answered in full sentences on a separate sheet of paper.

F (below12 points) Not enough attempt has been made to complete the assignment for a passing grade to be given.
